Fabrication workshop technician — Nicholas County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Nicholas County, Kentucky. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop Day-to-day duties: • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square Full-time with occasional weekends.
