Blocklayer • Johnson County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a blocklayer in Johnson County, Kansas. You will be based on a commercial construction site. You will pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. You should have: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Full-time, day shift.
