Join our team: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Sunderland, England. You will be based in an open-cast mine. You will grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment. What we are looking for: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
