Foundry operative • Cowlitz County, Washington

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry operative in Cowlitz County, Washington. The role involves prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
