Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG welder in Ikenne, Ogun State. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Your main tasks: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
