Cnc setter-operator • Lake County, Michigan

Join our team: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Lake County, Michigan. You will work on the CNC turning shop floor. On the job you will handle: • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers Requirements: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection 5+ years on the tools preferred.
