Skimming plasterer — Washington County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Washington County, Maine. Your main tasks: • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
