Carpenter wanted in Northampton County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a carpenter in Northampton County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops Ideal candidate: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Good eye for detail and a clean finish Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
