Now hiring: we are hiring a rigger in Igbo-Eze-North, Enugu State. You will work at a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket You will set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; guide loads through tight openings into their final position.
