Machine operator (earthworks) — Garfield County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Garfield County, Utah. You will be based on a busy civils and groundworks site. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site Your main tasks: • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
