Steam press operator • Guma, Benue State

Now hiring: we are hiring a steam press operator in Guma, Benue State. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. Day to day you will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; give each garment a final press before packing. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. ₦1,800 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
