Elevator technician • Somerset County, New Jersey

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator technician in Somerset County, New Jersey. You will work in a machine room on the rooftop. What we are looking for: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Valid driving licence for site call-outs The role involves run load and overload tests with test weights; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
