Immediate opening: press setter operator (Alabama)

Now hiring: we are hiring a press setter operator in Lamar County, Alabama. Your main tasks: • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation Ideal candidate: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
