Powder spray gun operator — Floyd County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a powder spray gun operator in Floyd County, Iowa. The job is at a fabrication and coating plant. The role involves: • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations You should have: • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
