Urgent requirement: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Screven County, Georgia. You will strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour. Ideal candidate: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Full-time, day shift.
