Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Waller County, Texas. You will be based on a road and bridge project. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage The role involves: • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
