Escalator technician wanted in Baker County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an escalator technician in Baker County, Georgia. The job is on a high-rise construction site. On a typical shift you will respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox. You should have: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
