Day to day you will repair and re-tape damaged wiring looms; replace blown fuses, relays and faulty switches; fit car stereos, reverse cameras and dashcams; read and clear ECU fault codes. You should have: • Able to work under the dashboard and bonnet for long periods • Skilled with multimeter, test lamp and diagnostic scanner • ITI certificate in auto electrical or electronics, or equivalent Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
