Overlocker operator — Linn County

Now hiring: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Linn County, Kansas. The job is at a busy garment factory. On a typical shift you will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality. What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
