Access scaffolder — Washington County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an access scaffolder in Washington County, Maine. You will be based at a shipyard. On a typical shift you will erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level. Requirements: • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment Part-time with flexible hours.
