Precision welder wanted in Bourbon County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Bourbon County, Kansas. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. On the job you will handle: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
