Immediate opening: shuttering carpenter (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Rusk County, Texas. You will work on a metro and tunnel project. You should have: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking Day-to-day duties: • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
