Immediate opening: vertical milling machine operator (Nebraska)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Dodge County, Nebraska. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. Your main tasks: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges 2+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $28 per hour plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
