VMC operator • Richmond County, Georgia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a VMC operator in Richmond County, Georgia. What we are looking for: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron The role involves: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
