Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Childress County, Texas. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through The role involves weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits.
