Tyre technician — Ellsworth County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tyre technician in Ellsworth County, Kansas. You will be based in a commercial truck tyre depot. Requirements: • Awareness of workshop health and safety • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets The role involves: • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
