Now hiring: we are hiring a quality checker in Dixie County, Florida. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges You should have: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
