Immediate opening: argon arc welder (Oklahoma)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Blaine County, Oklahoma. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Your main tasks: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool 1+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
