You should have: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Understanding of safe digging near underground services On a typical shift you will carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; check for underground cables and services before digging; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
