Garden maintenance worker — Republic County

Now hiring: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Republic County, Kansas. You will work in a botanical garden. On the job you will handle: • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines You should have: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Valid driving licence for travel between sites Part-time with flexible hours.
