Join our team: we are hiring a presser in Ida County, Iowa. Your main tasks: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets 2+ years on the tools preferred.
