Fabrication workshop technician — Johnston County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Johnston County, North Carolina. The role involves take site measurements of openings before fabrication; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it. Requirements: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
