D6/D8 dozer operator wanted in Yolo County

Now hiring: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Yolo County, California. The job is on a dam or embankment job. You will spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels. Ideal candidate: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
