Lift erector wanted in Chenango County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift erector in Chenango County, New York. The job is on a high-rise construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate 5+ years on the tools preferred.
