Immediate opening: laundry presser (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a laundry presser in Montague County, Texas. You will work at a textile finishing unit. Day to day you will give each garment a final press before packing; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
