Tower crane operator — Marshall County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Marshall County, South Dakota. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. You will keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure. Requirements: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Able to read load charts and lifting plans 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
