Now hiring: we are hiring a head butcher in Mineral County, Colorado. You will work at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. On a typical shift you will debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings. What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours.
