Single needle operator wanted in Lyon County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a single needle operator in Lyon County, Iowa. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. The role involves trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. What we are looking for: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift.
