Construction mazdoor — Franklin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a construction mazdoor in Franklin County, Iowa. You will work on a commercial building project. You will carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors. What we are looking for: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
