Urgent requirement: we are hiring a waterproofing applicator in Passaic County, New Jersey. You will work at a busy roofing firm. Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights and steady balance • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day Your main tasks: • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens Part-time with flexible hours.
