Urgent requirement: single needle operator (Virginia)

Join our team: we are hiring a single needle operator in Amelia County, Virginia. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. Day-to-day duties: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line 5+ years on the tools preferred.
