Conventional mill operator wanted in Shelby County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Shelby County, Alabama. You will work at an automotive components factory. You will hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Rotating shifts.
