Immediate opening: we are hiring a power press operator in Wayne County, Tennessee. On the job you will handle: • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges 2+ years on the tools preferred.
