Vacancy available: lift mechanic (Alaska)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Yakutat City and Borough, Alaska. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. You will fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork. Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
