Packaging worker — Kenai Peninsula Borough

Day to day you will strap and band pallets ready for loading; operate the filling and sealing machine on the line; change over film rolls and reset the heat sealer; seal cartons with a tape gun or hot-melt glue; apply labels, barcodes and batch codes to each pack. You should have: • Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 25 kg • Understanding of basic food hygiene for food packing • Basic numeracy for counting and recording quantities At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
