Immediate opening: we are hiring a dough maker in Crawford County, Illinois. Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Day-to-day duties: • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Score the top of loaves before baking • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
