Sheet metal welder — Bradford

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Bradford, England. Day to day you will clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Full-time, day shift.
