Press operator — Houston County

Join our team: we are hiring a press operator in Houston County, Georgia. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards The role involves: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
