Vacuum press operator — McLeod County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in McLeod County, Minnesota. You will be based at a garment factory. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases On the job you will handle: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
