Vacancy available: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Morgan County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • CSCS card or willing to obtain one On a typical shift you will float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency.
